It is designed for testing metals and other materials under tension, compression, bending, transverse and shear loads.
Operation of the machine is by hydraulic transmission of load from the test specimen to a separately housed electronic read out system.
Load is applied by a hydrostatically lubricated Ram. Main cylinder pressure is transmitted through a high sensitive and precision pressure sensor which in turn transmits the load to the Digital Indicator Unit.
Load in KN/KGF and Displacement in mm are displayed in bright digital display on an elegant State-of-the-Art based Microprocessor Digital Indicator Unit.
Strainign Unit consists of a hydraulic cylinder, motor with chain and sprocket drive and a table coupled with the ram of the hydraulic cylinder, mounted on to a robust base.
All the four columns of the machine are hard chrome-plated to give a perpetual new look to the machine.
The control panel comprises of a hydraulic power pack complete with drive motor and an oil reservoir and hydraulic controls consisting of hand operated wheels.
